Could it be true?  Has the New Jersey shore gotten past Covid?  

Mask mandates are being lifted, restrictions on businesses are being eased … I think it’s going to be one heck of a summer at the Jersey shore!  If you are like me, you cannot wait to get back to “normal” for the summer season in Long Beach Island.

The 2021 season in Long Beach Island kicks off officially (in my mind) with the return of live music to The Sand Dollar Restaurant on May 28th from 5:30 to – 9:00PM with Steel Margarita.  Followed by Problem Child 2 on Saturday and the very popular Michael Corliss on Sunday.  A weekend full of live music in LBI!  You can see a full music calendar here.

I am so excited!  Excellent live music right on the beach –   at their beach bar, great drink specials, great food,and …. actual live people!  I will definitely be there.  Will you?

Wow did 2020 suck with Covid.  Even the places that were open, just weren’t the same.  Not even close..  

Long Beach Island Is Ready For The 2021 Season

After speaking with several local business owners in Long Beach Island, it is clear that people are ready to get back to normal.  Hotels are booking up fast and there are tons of rental properties already booked sold all season long!

Based on what we are seeing, 2021 might be the best season at the Jersey shore in years!
