LBI Events Hosted in the Fall

If you choose to visit in September, you can find great deals on hotels and attend Chowderfest with all of the other LBI locals. This annual event is a community-wide “farewell to summer” where you can sample soups from local restaurants’ in a competition for the best chowder. Also during September, come by during the Seafood Festival or the Sea Glass and Art Festival. October hosts the Beach Haven Fall Festival, and the colorful sites of the International Kite Festival. Up at the Barnegat Lighthouse you can participate in a Statewide Lighthouse Challengeto climb each of the 13 New Jersey lighthouses over one fall weekend.
